I’m just your average video taker. I really don’t know that much about the mechanics of it all. So when I thought about buying a 
new camcorder, the first thing I thought about was Sony. It’s always offered me quality merchandise in the past so I wasn’t surprised when its Handycam was just what I needed. It’s pretty straightforward in terms of video recording and it even offers you some nifty extras if you’re into editing your own videos –which I may just get into after this purchase.
I paid a respectable $220 for this camera and for that price I got brilliant quality. The zoom is really the most important feature for me and this Handycam didn’t disappoint. With a 40x optical zoom, I was able to capture some great moments from a very healthy distance. I was also quite blown away by the camera angles I got. The LCD screen is on a swivel, so you get the best angles for any shot.
Like I said, I just need something straightforward that’ll get me high quality video. Trust me. The Sony Handycam delivers on that promise and more.
