For $430, I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible camera. I’ve always been impressed with Sony’s high quality technological offerings, but this camera was certainly a stunner. With a 9.1 megapixel resolution, not only was I promised image quality, I also enjoyed an incredible optical view.
This camera has a staggering 20x zoom lens that will get you up close and personal with any subject you want to capture no matter how far away you happen to be. More than that, this amazing camera includes a 28mm wide angle lens. Quite frankly, that’s just preposterous. I would have never expected a zoom that incredible to come standard with the camera. Not only can I shoot far away, I can shoot wide and get as much of the scene as I need. There’s nothing quite like being able to capture a wide angle, but if that’s 28mm doesn’t suffice, you can also take advantage of the panoramic sweep that Sony included. All you have to do is sweep the landscape and the camera automatically pieces the scene together for you –giving you quality wide shots.
This camera was quite surprising, but for the price I paid I wouldn’t have expected any less.
