Sony BRAVIA XBR Series KDL-52XBR9 LCD HDTV is an impressive TV from Sony. Picture quality is too good. I’m not an expert so I am not going much deeper into the technical details. What matters to me is the picture’s quality is exceptional, and I can see more of the picture. At times it seems like the picture in the screen would pop out of it; it looks so real. 
The sound quality too is quite good; however, I use separate speaker system connected to my LCD TV as I need powerful sound to complement quality picture. But at the same, for daily usage, the regular speakers of the TV are not bad either and it produces sound of quite decent quality, which is loud enough and clear. It can also connect to my home network and can easily access my multimedia files from the computer or flash drive. So I can straightaway show people photos on this screen or even start a slideshow on it. I am sure that considering Sony’s Bravia consistently growing internet access and with all broadcast stations offering digital content directly to them, it will soon outrun cable TV or DirecTV in the future.
