Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch LCD HDTV is not one of those ultra high-end LCD TVs from Sony but still feature wise it is considered as one of the best LCD TVs available in the market as its features are comparable to the premium models of Sony and other brands. It’s a lot thicker than its high-end siblings, but still manages to look attractive in a matte black finish. It comes with a black swivel stand, the color of which well matches with the color scheme of the frame. 
It includes 120 Hz refresh rate processing along with an excellent dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1. Going by merely the specifications one could gauge its performance and it doesn’t disappoint altogether with its solid performance and great feature set most of which are Sony’s proprietary technologies.
The Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 LCD TV’s navigation menu is quite intuitive. Even the remote has been redesigned for an ease of use by providing a main cursor button around which four navigational buttons are placed. This way of button placement is a lot more useful than a bunch of buttons where you have to search for the buttons.
All in all it’s a great LCD TV; a typical Sony product.
