I was looking for an HDTV to keep a good pace with fast action pictures while playing games or watching action-movies or sports and Sony BRAVIA V –Series KDL-40V5100 came out as a perfect match. The combination of full HD 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate technology produces an amazing picture quality and I felt like I had a natural viewing experience. Adding to it, it also has 7 HD inputs which I use for my playstation to get a real gaming experience, and I also use this 40-inch LCD HDTV as my computer monitor. I truly acknowledge that by adding BRAVIA Engine 2 fully digital video processor, Sony has not left any stone unturned to produce sharp and life like images. I was quite surprised to see its clarity of images even in dark scenes, which is delivered using Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE). It also incorporates a very useful utility and that is USB port, which I use mostly for viewing photos and videos on the 40-inch large screen by plugging in my USB flash drive or my camera into it. I have also customized its Favorites Menu option to quickly access my favorite channels. The way it has exceeded the standard Energy Star 3.0 requirements by incorporating power saving features, it has also exceeded my expectations and requirements which I had while planning to buy an HDTV.
