Panasonic DMC-LX3K Black Digital Camera
Now if I’m going to pay nearly $500 for a camera, I want the resolution to be up there. Panasonic intentionally reduced its resolution to 10.1 megapixels to make way for some features that aren’t exactly necessary, but I suppose they work to give these cameras the facelift Panasonic was looking for to compete with the camera market.
The camera comes complete with a F2.0 24mm ultra wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens. For all those who aren’t professional clickers, this means that you’ll be capturing very clear images even when you shut out the lights. I suppose this feature is pretty cool if you want your pictures to come out well at night, but there are hundreds of cameras on the market that d just that without sacrificing resolution.
I’m not saying that the camera is bad by any means, but I could actually do with more resolution and less technological fluff. For instance, Panasonic is still working with that bloody joystick feature that helps you scroll through features. That can get monotonous and confusing if you skip features by accident.
All in all, not a bad camera, but for me, not exactly worth the price tag.
