I paid $220 for a camera that looks good and delivers on the imaging. Even though I don’t usually consider myself a big spender, I would’ve put a bit more money on this than what they’re asking for. Though I would’ve liked to have a higher resolution than just 10 megapixels, the actual ease with which you can take quality pictures makes up for the lack of resolution. Really, I was surprised that Olympus could deliver a simple, comprehensive camera that thinks more about the photographer than flashy effects.
For instance, the best feature –the Dual Image Stabilization– will virtually take away the whole blur issue. Even if you’re in the snow and shivering your little fingers off, your camera won’t feel the effects. I mean you’ve really got to throw this thing about to get it to smear your photos. My favorite quality, though, is the Beauty Mode. It sounds exactly like what it is –it captures some of the most gorgeous shots no matter what lighting or environment you’re in. I mean all my friends look like they just walked off the runway.
Quite simply a quality camera for a good price!
