I was definitely surprised with the quality I received when I bought this camera. For $300, I was truly impressed. I never have been an Olympus fan –their cameras are bit clunky and uncomfortable for me. But this new Stylus model is more sleek, convenient, and quite frankly, you can’t beat the quality with which you’re able to capture images. The most impressive aspect of this camera is its stability. The most important thing, after all, is to make sure that when you take your picture your image comes out without a great deal of blur.

I’m also bowled over with the waterproof feature. I mean, I hate getting anything electric wet because they never work quite the same afterwards. More than anything else, it’s always a pain getting the thing dry. Olympus has surpassed my expectations really. The only real reason why I bought this camera as opposed to, say, a Coolpix camera is because, quite frankly, I can’t afford what Nikon offers. This camera is the right price for simplicity and quality.

I’m always going to dish out cash for a good result; Olympus most definitely delivers the goods.

I paid $220 for a camera that looks good and delivers on the imaging. Even though I don’t usually consider myself a big spender, I would’ve put a bit more money on this than what they’re asking for. Though I would’ve liked to have a higher resolution than just 10 megapixels, the actual ease with which you can take quality pictures makes up for the lack of resolution. Really, I was surprised that Olympus could deliver a simple, comprehensive camera that thinks more about the photographer than flashy effects.

For instance, the best feature –the Dual Image Stabilization– will virtually take away the whole blur issue. Even if you’re in the snow and shivering your little fingers off, your camera won’t feel the effects. I mean you’ve really got to throw this thing about to get it to smear your photos. My favorite quality, though, is the Beauty Mode. It sounds exactly like what it is –it captures some of the most gorgeous shots no matter what lighting or environment you’re in. I mean all my friends look like they just walked off the runway.

Quite simply a quality camera for a good price!

When it comes to cameras, the less I have to pay the happier I am. I’m not a professional, so I just want a camera that will get the job done for a reasonable price. At $180, this camera does exactly what I need it to do and gives me a bit of thrill as well. My favourite feature is the fact that my camera is waterproof. Though it’s not really a necessary element on the outset, if you think about it, how may times have you been caught in the rain with your camera? Your camera is either ruined or never the same. I think Olympus definitely had the customer in mind when they created this one.

By far the coolest feature is the fact that the camera has a panoramic little trick that it enlists –it puts three images together to give you the panoramic effect. It’s actually pretty brilliant. All you have to do is press the shutter and pan your camera across a scene. When you release the shutter, you’ll get a full panoramic view right inside the camera.

So, fantastic camera for a great price. I’m definitely pleased with what I got.

This camera is pretty fantastic. For $330, I got a camera that offered the most amazing quality images. Of course, the most important aspect of any camera is how far you can shoot and how close your image turns out. The f2.8-5.0 lens can get your images that up close and personal feel will giving you a wide angle so you capture as much of the scenery as you possibly can. 12 megapixels is also quite a revelation when you consider how long and wide you can shoot images.

My favourite feature, if I can be quite honest, is the videos in HDTV. I mean who doesn’t know the feeling of passing around your camera or squishing five people around a small LCD screen to see a funny video? Plug this bad boy into your television and you’re sure to be knocked off your feet with how clear and crisp your video turns out to be.

I mean, I was truly satisfied with this camera. And for $330, I’m more than happy with the quality I got from this camera. One could do worse than panoramic view and HDTV video.
